About Us

Owner / Coach

Koji Shigeeda

Koji’s goal has always been to create a welcoming, family-oriented gym where people of all backgrounds can come together to improve their health in a supportive community.

With a Diploma in Exercise Science from CIT and a Bachelor’s in Sport & Exercise Science from Massey University, he is a certified strength and conditioning expert. Koji has coached athletes at all levels, including roles with Wellington Rugby and the Hurricanes. His martial arts skills include a black belt in Judo and a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. His competitive spirit has also driven him to complete the 2023 New York Marathon and multiple Ironman events, demonstrating his commitment to pushing physical limits and leading by example.

Josh Bromley

Josh is driven to help people improve their health, build confidence, and enjoy the process of training in a positive and supportive environment. He believes fitness should be accessible to everyone, no matter their starting point, and aims to create a space where individuals feel encouraged and part of a community.

With a strong passion for helping others, he focuses on making training both effective and enjoyable for every individual.

Josh holds a Certificate in Personal Training along with a Level 4 qualification in Exercise, equipping him with the knowledge to support clients across a range of fitness levels and goals. His love for rugby has shaped his approach to training, with a strong emphasis on strength, conditioning, and performance. Josh is dedicated to helping clients not only improve physically but also develop resilience and a strong mindset both in and out of the gym.
